Maybe next time. Until I found out there really was no management, fleeces were cut off and thown away--because they had lice. Had lice, still have lice. No vet called, nothing. The one and only time I dealt with lice was on an older mare I purchased for my daughter. Called the seller and he claimed it was my fault. Uuuhm. NO. Took two weeks and treated six horses to get rid of the lice. I am so sorry for those poor pacas and for you. I guess outing them would cause major legal repercussions, but they seriously need to be. If, for no other reason that no other "newbie" is treated in that manner.phaedra96https://www.blogger.com/profile/13073887491311158448noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1530666835690874938.post-67183106039060001202010-04-20T15:42:55.483-07:002010-04-20T15:42:55.483-07:00Poor Mattie, and poor you!!! There are some phrases in horse selling that I see all the time, that cover up a multitude of sins, if you aren't savvy. I'm such a softie, if you lived near me, I'd probably take your non breeder for a pet!!!Thanks for the link - I'll have to check it out later!!!ooglebloopshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14222611602787757388noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1530666835690874938.post-45690748750829648572010-04-20T09:59:44.685-07:002010-04-20T09:59:44.685-07:00WOW...what a story.
